COLAZIONE AL VATICANO GUEST HOUSE, Rome

Colazione Al Vaticano sits on a quiet residential street directly opposite Roma San Pietro Train Station, giving immediate access to regional trains. It is a 5- to 10-minute walk from Saint Peter's Basilica and Vatican City, placing the main tourist area within comfortable walking distance. Bus routes 62 and 64 stop 50 metres from the entrance, providing connections to Termini Station and the historic centre. The neighbourhood is safe and lined with restaurants, bakeries, cafés and a Carrefour Market 500 metres away. The train station at San Pietro offers services to Fiumicino Airport and local destinations. Despite the proximity to major landmarks and transport, the street itself is quiet at night, making it practical for both sightseeing and rest.

Rooms include double, twin, single and quadruple configurations. Each room is air-conditioned and heated, with a flat-screen TV, satellite channels and a wardrobe. Beds are 2 metres long. Some rooms feature a private bathroom with shower, bidet and toilet; other rooms share a bathroom with up to 4 rooms. The shared facilities can lead to queues, especially in the morning. Rooms tend to be spacious and are decorated in a classic Italian style. Street-facing rooms may experience some traffic noise; interior rooms are quieter. No rooms have a balcony. An old vintage elevator serves the building but may not be operational at all times. The overall decor is older but functional; cleanliness is reported as variable so checking the room upon arrival is recommended.

Colazione Al Vaticano does not serve breakfast or have a restaurant. The shared kitchen is equipped with a Nespresso machine, capsules, tea, fridge, microwave, stovetop, cookware, plates, glasses and utensils - guests can prepare their own meals. Several cafés, bakeries, and pizzerias are within a 2- to 5-minute walk, such as Cresci and Garage Forno for pastries and pizza. A Carrefour Market is 500 metres away for groceries. The kitchen, though compact, is suitable for light cooking and breakfast preparation.

Wi-Fi is free and available in all areas. The shared kitchen can be used by all guests. A lift serves the building. Luggage storage is available at reception after check-out at no extra cost. Daily housekeeping carries an additional charge. The property has key card and key access, fire extinguishers and an invoice service. No on-site parking exists; nearby monitored parking at Stazione San Pietro costs €3/day (06:00-22:00). No airport shuttle is provided. The building has an older elevator that may not always be operational. Staff are not available 24 hours - communications are primarily via WhatsApp or phone during business hours.
