Several shops and restaurants are within walking distance, such as First Watch, Cozzola's Pizza, and Gib's New York Bagels. Rocky Mountain National Park and world-class ski resorts are within an hour's drive. The location is quiet and well-suited for both business travelers and families visiting CSU.

The hotel offers King, Queen, and suite options, including rooms with kitchenettes. Some ground-floor rooms have sliding glass doors opening to a courtyard with seating. After a recent renovation, rooms are clean and modern, though some are compact with limited floor space. Bedding includes multiple pillow choices and comfortable mattresses. Families can use a pull-out sofa bed. Adjoining rooms are available (one King connecting to two Queens). Note that TV placement in many rooms is on the side of the bed rather than facing it-a point to consider if watching television is important. Air conditioning units can be audible. Bathrooms are well-maintained with good water pressure.

The on-site Bistro is open daily for breakfast (6:30-9:30 AM weekdays, until 10 AM weekends) and dinner (5:00-10:00 PM). Breakfast menu includes egg sandwiches, oatmeal, and Starbucks beverages. Dinner options feature American fare such as burgers, wings, and quesadillas, with a full bar. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available upon request. Service is generally friendly, though dinner service can be slow during busy periods. For additional variety, several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk: First Watch, Cozzola's Pizza, Domenic's, Gib's New York Bagels, and more.

The indoor pool is heated and open year-round, and the hot tub/jacuzzi is available for relaxation. The fitness center is free and includes Peloton bikes, free weights, and cardio machines. Bicycle rental is offered on-site for exploring the area. The outdoor courtyard features a fire pit, tables, and umbrellas-a pleasant space for lounging in warmer months. There is no spa or wellness center on the property. The pool area is well-maintained and suitable for families.
