It is a 5-minute walk to Bukit Bintang Monorail Station, providing connections across Kuala Lumpur. Major attractions like the Petronas Towers (25 minutes on foot) and Chinatown (15 minutes) are within walking distance. The Pudu Sentral bus terminal is nearby for airport transfers. The area is safe and lively, with shops and malls such as Berjaya Times Square close by.

Accommodation includes private rooms and dormitories. Private rooms are very small, often just enough space for the bed, and typically windowless. Dormitories have bunk beds with individual power outlets and a small locker (bring your own padlock). Lower bunks are under air conditioning units; upper bunks can be cold. Rooms near the rooftop bar may experience significant noise until late. Beds have firm mattresses and hard pillows; some bedding has been reported as unclean. Bathrooms are private cubicles with shower, toilet, and sink; they are cleaned regularly but can become dirty during busy periods. There are no reading lights in dorm beds, and storage space is limited to the locker. No extra beds or cots are available.

Breakfast is included and offered from 7:00 to 11:00 at the on-site Indian restaurant. The standard options are roti canai with dhal or toast with jam, accompanied by hot tea or coffee. The same restaurant serves Indian meals for lunch and dinner at affordable prices, and is popular with both guests and locals. Jalan Alor food street, with dozens of street-food vendors, is a 3-minute walk away. Many other restaurants, cafes, and bars are within a few hundred metres, offering Malaysian, Chinese, Indian, and international cuisine.

The rooftop bar is open in the evenings and often hosts social events like group dinners or parties, making it a lively spot for meeting other travellers. The terrace offers outdoor seating with views of the surrounding area. The ground-floor common area has sofas, a TV with Netflix, and a relaxed atmosphere. The hostel does not have a swimming pool, fitness centre, or spa. For leisure, Jalan Alor's night market and nearby shopping malls provide entertainment options.
