FAMILY APARTMENT PLAZA ESPANA, Barcelona

The apartment places you less than 200 metres from a metro station, making Plaça de Catalunya (2 km) and Sants Railway Station reachable in minutes. Sants Railway Station connects to train services across Catalonia and the AVE high-speed network. A direct bus from Barcelona El Prat Airport (11 km) stops near Plaça d'Espanya, a 5-minute walk away. The Magic Fountain of Montjuïc is a 12-minute walk, and the Boqueria Market is about 2 km. Dozens of restaurants, bistros, and a supermarket are within 300 metres, ideal for self-catering. The area is considered quiet for families, yet central enough for sightseeing.

The apartment comprises two separate bedrooms, one living room, and a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is well-fitted with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, and utensils. A washing machine and dryer are also provided. The unit offers three beds (configuration suitable for up to 4 people - one double bed in one bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom). Air conditioning and heating are included. The terrace is large enough for morning coffee or evening dining, and the apartment is reported as very quiet internally, with comfortable beds. Road-facing rooms near the metro entrance may carry some low-level street noise; requesting a room on the inner side can help light sleepers.

The apartment does not include a restaurant, bar, or breakfast. However, the immediate area offers a wide choice: Dal Presidente, La Clara Restaurant, Naya Gastro Music, El Rey Del Bocata, and Pura Brasa Arenas are all within 0.3-0.5 km. The on-site kitchen (stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine) means self-catering is straightforward, with a supermarket right next door for groceries. For a more extensive meal, Tickets (a renowned tapas bar) is 0.5 km away. Breakfast can be taken at nearby cafés or prepared in the apartment.

The apartment building has a lift, making it accessible for most. The reception is staffed and reportedly helpful, with English and Spanish spoken. Free high-speed WiFi is available in all areas. The apartment includes a washing machine and dryer, electric kettle, flat-screen TV, and air conditioning. Family rooms are available, and the property is designated non-smoking throughout. No parking is available, making public transport or walking the primary options. Pets are not allowed.
