FANTASTIC & FUNCTIONAL APARTMENT IN MALAGA I, Malaga

Within a 500-metre radius there are eight restaurants and bars, offering varied dining options within easy walking distance. The Automobile and Fashion Museum is 2 km from the apartment, and the historic city centre is about a 30-40 minute walk. Using the train station for further connections is practical, and the paid shuttle service provides a direct alternative to taxis, which can be scarce at night. The area is multicultural and some streets show signs of wear, but the concentration of nearby dining and the museum make it a functional base for exploring the city.

The unit sleeps up to two guests with two beds - either a double or two singles pushed together, depending on configuration. The sofa bed frame is reported as uncomfortable for sitting, and the bathroom has only a half shower screen, so the floor can flood if showers last longer than a few minutes. Kitchen utensils are limited, and the toaster requires holding the lever down. The property has thin walls and doors, so noise from the street and neighbouring apartments is audible. A strong, persistent smell from the bathroom pipes is reported, even after airing out. Insects (ants, cockroaches) may enter under the door. The WiFi is free and works reliably, and the flat-screen TV, coffee machine, and washing machine are functional. Travel light sleepers or those with respiratory conditions may find the accommodation challenging.

The apartment does not operate a restaurant or café. Guests self-cater using the kitchenette, which has a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine, and washing-up basics. The nearby dining range includes Dolce Latte (coffee/snacks), Pizzeria Pavarotti (pizza), Sandwich Club (sandwiches), Mar Del Sur and La Pantera for Spanish dishes, and several bars such as Bar Saylo and Bar Fidel. For a wider choice, the historic centre is a 30-40 minute walk. A paid shuttle can also take guests to more dining areas.
