FLOWER HOUSE - OLTRARNO COLLECTION, Florence

Flower House sits just beyond Porta Romana, placing you at the quieter southern edge of Florence's historic core. The Boboli Gardens entrance is a 3-minute walk, and Palazzo Pitti is about 10 minutes away on foot. The city centre - including Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery - is a 15-20 minute stroll across the river. Several bus lines stop within metres of the front door, ideal for reaching the Duomo or central station without a car. For drivers, the Villa Costanza park-and-ride (€7/day) is a short tram ride away; street parking is free from 8pm to 8am but paid during the day. The apartment's position also gives easy access to walking routes into the surrounding Tuscan hills and panoramic viewpoints.

The apartment comprises a living room with a sofa bed and work desk, one separate bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower and bidet. The kitchen includes a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle, and basic cooking utensils. A washing machine and dryer are also provided, making longer stays more practical. The bedroom is fitted with soundproofed windows that effectively block street noise, but the unit overlooks a busy road - light sleepers may prefer the bedroom side. The private terrace offers a space to sit out and watch neighbourhood life. Free toiletries, an iron, and a dressing area are included. The flat is on the first floor with no lift, and the building has key access and smoke alarms.

The ground floor of the building houses a café serving pastries, coffee, and croissants - a convenient option for breakfast. Across the street is a highly rated restaurant, and the surrounding streets are lined with local eateries, wine bars, and a gelateria (all within 0.3-0.5 km). Antica Salumeria Terre Nobili and several delis offer takeaway options for eating in. A supermarket is reachable in about 8 minutes on foot. For those preferring to cook, the apartment kitchen has everything needed, and complimentary drinks are provided in the fridge.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas of the apartment. The property offers express and private check-in/out, and an invoice is provided upon request. Daily cleaning is available for an additional charge - ideal for longer stays or if you prefer not to clean during your visit. Pets are allowed by prior arrangement and may incur a fee. The building uses key access and smoke alarms for security. Parking is not available on-site, but street parking (free 8pm-8am) and the Villa Costanza lot (€7/day) are practical alternatives. The first-floor apartment has no lift, which may affect guests with heavy luggage or mobility needs.
