FOREST EDGE INN, London

The property sits in a residential area 6 km from London City Airport, 3 km from East Ham, and 4 km from Stratford. Forest Gate station is under 5 minutes on foot, with trains reaching central London in about 30 minutes. The neighbourhood offers several supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance, including Lidl and Coop. Some streets can feel quiet after dark; the area has a mix of residential and commercial spaces.

Rooms are basic and compact, featuring a kitchen with refrigerator, oven, microwave, and cookware. Bathrooms are private but in some cases are located outside the room rather than en suite - confirm when booking. Condition and cleanliness can vary; some rooms have reported issues with bed bugs, stained linens, worn mattresses, and thin walls that transmit noise from neighbouring rooms and a nearby bar. Rooms with city views are available. The property is best suited for short, budget-focused stays where location and price are the main priorities.

The property does not offer a restaurant or breakfast. Guests can use the shared kitchen, which includes a refrigerator, oven, microwave, and basic cookware. Several cafes and supermarkets are within a short walk - Compotes, Familia Cafe, Tromso Cafe E7, Corner Kitchen, Forest Cafe, and Nur all about 0.5 km away, providing breakfast and meal options.
