Rome Termini Metro and train station are within 5-10 minutes on foot, giving direct rail connections across Rome and to the airports. Many iconic sites - including the Colosseum and Piazza Barberini (1 km) - are reachable on foot. The neighbourhood is dense with restaurants, supermarkets, and bus stops. Villa Borghese is 1 km away. The area is well-lit and feels safe even late at night, though the street can be lively and carries traffic noise into rooms. Ciampino Airport is 15 km away, easily accessed via the paid shuttle or a short walk to the airport bus/ train from Termini.

The guest house is a private room inside a larger apartment (first floor, no lift). Room types: double rooms (some with private bathroom, one with a small bathroom), single rooms (private or shared bathroom), and a smaller double room. All rooms have heating, a kettle, cookware/kitchen utensils, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Some rooms offer city views and a work desk. No TV in rooms. The shared bathroom is located at the end of a hallway. Street-facing rooms can be noisy from traffic and a bar below; quieter rooms face away from the street. The bed frame is a double bed; mattress comfort varies - a very hard mattress is noted. The bathroom size can be small; the sliding door in some rooms may not close fully. Some noise carries from adjacent rooms and the hallway. There are only a few power outlets: one by the bed (next to the heating unit).

The property does not offer a restaurant or breakfast service. The shared kitchen includes a microwave, electric kettle, cookware, and a refrigerator - suitable for preparing simple meals or storing food. A supermarket (Conad) is around the corner, and at least eight restaurants and pizzerias are within a 0.5 km walk, offering a wide variety of inexpensive dining options. The host can recommend local eateries.

Fruitroom Rome does not have a swimming pool, spa, or wellness centre. For leisure, guests use the city's attractions: Villa Borghese park (1 km), walking tours of historic Rome, and the many bars and restaurants in the lively Termini neighbourhood.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property. A paid airport shuttle can be requested after booking; bike rental is also available for an additional charge.
