GARCIA NOBLEJAS APARTMENTS, Madrid

The property sits in a tranquil neighbourhood away from the city centre, approximately 6 km from Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and El Retiro Park, 7 km from the Prado Museum and Gran Vía Metro Station, and 8 km from Puerta del Sol. The nearest metro entrance is a short stroll, and Metro line 7 provides a direct 20-25 minute ride to Estadio Metropolitano. A taxi from the airport takes under 15 minutes. Free on-street parking is available directly outside, making car access practical, though the property has no dedicated parking. A Mercadona supermarket is within 20 metres, and several bars, cafés and pizzerias are within a 5-minute walk.

The apartments are converted ground-floor units - formerly retail spaces - with large glass windows facing the street. While some units are newly renovated and modern, others may show wear on walls and sofa cushions. The sofa bed needs to be requested in advance to ensure clean bedding is prepared. The private bathroom includes a shower, hairdryer and toilet, but starter toiletries (shower gel, toilet paper) may only last one day. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee and tea maker, and a washing machine - though basic cooking utensils and drying rack are not always provided. Heating and air conditioning are available. Some units have a fan. The open-plan layout means that cooking smells can reach clothes stored in the open wardrobe. Bed comfort is generally reported as good, but sofa bed cushions are firm.
