GIARDINO HOTEL, Milan

The hotel sits in a quiet residential area south of central Milan, directly served by tram line 15 and the M2 metro - both a one-minute walk from the front door. The metro connects to the city centre, Milano Centrale, and major landmarks, while the tram runs directly to the historic old town. Drivers can reach Milan's centre in about 10 minutes by car. On-street parking is available nearby, and the hotel's secure on-site parking costs €9 per day (no reservation needed). Several restaurants and cafés are within a 5-minute walk. The hotel also operates a shuttle to and from the Humanitas Hospital and European Institute of Oncology for those attending appointments.

Rooms are compact and functional, with simple furnishings that some describe as older, but they are consistently clean. The air conditioning is effective and quiet. Rooms have a balcony, a safe, flat-screen TV, heating, and an alarm clock. Single rooms are very small; double rooms feel more generous. Bathrooms include a shower, hairdryer, bidet, and complimentary toiletries; some bathrooms have been recently renovated. Street-facing rooms pick up noise from the tram line and traffic, so light sleepers should request a rear-facing room. There is no minibar, kettle, or refrigerator in the room. Housekeeping changes towels daily and provides fresh bed linen during longer stays. Amenity kits with slippers, toothbrush, and toothpaste are provided. The property has no lift, and upper floors are accessible only by stairs.

Leisure facilities are limited to the bar and the outdoor terrace. The surrounding residential area is quiet, and the metro provides quick access to Milan's cultural and entertainment venues. For leisure activities, guests rely on the city's attractions approximately 25 minutes away by metro.
