GIRAMONDO APARTMENT CENTRALE, Milan

The property is within a 2-to-10-minute walk of Milano Centrale station, granting fast connections to main metro lines, high-speed trains, and Malpensa Airport shuttles. Nearby landmarks include Villa Necchi Campiglio (3 km), Sforzesco Castle (4 km), and the Duomo (4 km). A number of bars, restaurants and takeaway options are within 300 metres, including Eataly and several pizzerias. Milan Linate Airport is 8 km away. The central station location makes the area well-served by public transport, but the street is a busy main road, so rooms overlooking it experience constant traffic noise.

Available room types include double, triple and quadruple configurations, with private bathrooms fitted with a bath, shower, bidet and hairdryer. Upper-floor rooms are reachable by lift. The property features air conditioning and heating, but the old windows let in considerable street noise, making road-facing rooms unsuitable for light sleepers. Many rooms have dated furnishings, uncomfortable mattresses, and issues with shower water pressure and temperature. Cleanliness has been a consistent concern, with reports of dirty sheets, hair on floors, and insufficient supplies such as toilet paper and soap. The overall feel is dated and basic, suited for short, transit-oriented stays rather than leisure or comfort-focused trips.

No on-site dining or breakfast is available. Within 300 metres you will find Black Bar & Restaurant by Eataly, Dispensa Emilia, Altravia Bistrot, Pizzeria Bar Tavola Calda, and several cafés and bakeries such as Best Cafe and La Bottega Del Pane. A Japanese restaurant next door has been noted as a welcoming option. For self-catering, there is no refrigerator in the rooms, so plan for takeaway or restaurant meals.

The property is limited to essential accommodation services with no dedicated leisure or wellness amenities. Guests should plan recreational activities outside the property using the city's extensive parks, museums and cultural sites, all accessible via the central station.

Wi-Fi is free in public areas and in-room connectivity has been unreliable. Luggage storage is available after check-out for a 10 EUR fee. Express and private check-in/out services are offered, but key collection at a separate location adds a 10-minute walk to the process. No parking is available, so the property is best used by train travellers. Reception staff speak Arabic, English, Italian and Chinese. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Maestro, UnionPay and MasterCard. Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out until 11:00.
