GROVE INN, London

The inn is on a main road with a bus stop a few minutes' walk away and the nearest underground station about 12 minutes on foot. The immediate area includes supermarkets, restaurants, a kebab shop (1 km), Louie Louie (1 km), and a pub with 2-for-1 cocktails downstairs. Nearby landmarks include Tower Bridge and Banqueting House. The surrounding neighbourhood contains a mix of local shops and ongoing construction work on some adjacent buildings. Public transport makes central London accessible without a car, but the street itself can be busy and noisy into the night.

The shared kitchen is equipped with a microwave, kettle, plates, cups, cutlery, a dining table, and basic cooking utensils. No fresh tea towels or bin liners are provided. The ground-floor pub operates a cocktail happy hour: 2-for-1 from 12:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and 12:00 to 17:00 on weekends. Several supermarkets and takeaway restaurants are within a short walk for those who prefer to buy food. The property does not offer breakfast, lunch, or dinner service.

The pub on the ground floor offers a social space with 2-for-1 cocktails during daily happy hours. For other leisure, guests must rely on the surrounding area: Elephant and Castle, London Bridge, and Westminster are accessible by foot or short bus ride. No swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna, or other wellness facilities are provided.

Internet access is free in rooms. Pets are allowed with advance arrangement and possible extra charges. The building has no reception, front desk, or luggage storage room; the pub barmaid may occasionally hold bags if needed. All access is via a single digital code for the building and room doors - no physical keys. No daily housekeeping is provided; the room is cleaned only before new arrivals. No laundry service is available. The owner can be reached by phone during the day.
