GUASTO APARTMENTS BY LESDOMUS, Bologna

The property sits on a lively pedestrian street in the university quarter, placing you within easy reach of Bologna's main attractions: the Archiginnasio, Santo Stefano Church, and La Macchina del Tempo are all walkable. Guglielmo Marconi Airport is 10 km away. The surrounding area is dense with restaurants, bars, and cafés, and the central location means all major sights are accessible on foot. For car access, note that the building is inside the ZTL zone; the nearest covered parking is about 300 metres from the apartment, with a public car park at Piazza VIII Agosto a 5-minute walk outside the ZTL.

Each apartment includes a separate living room, a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries, and a well-fitted kitchen with stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and kitchenware. Additional amenities include a washing machine, dryer, tea and coffee maker, flat-screen TV, ironing facilities, and a wardrobe. The one-bedroom unit has 2 beds (including a sofa bed that can be opened), while the three-bedroom unit has 4 beds and a non-convertible sofa. Rooms on the courtyard side are noted to be quieter, whereas street-facing apartments may experience noise from the pedestrian street. The apartments are generally described as spacious and clean, with good air conditioning and ample storage.

The well-equipped kitchen includes a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and all necessary cookware, making it easy to prepare meals. Numerous restaurants, pizzerias, and bars are within a short walk (0.3-0.5 km), including To Steki, Sale Grosso, and Pizzeria napoletana DOC. A café directly across the street serves pastries and coffee for a quick breakfast. Guests who prefer a hotel-style breakfast should note that none is provided in the apartment, but the surrounding area offers plenty of options.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and is free of charge. Self check-in is possible from 15:00, and self check-out is before 10:00, offering flexibility for late arrivals or early departures. The apartment features air conditioning, heating, and non-smoking rooms. Family rooms are available, and a cot can be requested after booking. Safety features include fire extinguishers and smoke alarms. There is no parking on site, and the nearest public parking is a 5-minute walk away at Piazza VIII Agosto. Access is by stairs only, which are old and steep; the property is not recommended for those with mobility issues. The host is noted for good communication and responsiveness.
