HOTEL HERRMES, Prague

The hotel is situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, offering a peaceful setting while keeping public transport within steps. The metro station is roughly 300 metres away, connecting to the city centre in about 15 minutes. For airport access, a taxi or the paid hotel shuttle is practical, as the property is a short drive from Václav Havel Airport. A supermarket (Billa) and a few local restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, and the Andel shopping area is just a few metro stops away. Street parking is available if the on-site lot is full.

Room types range from double rooms (with one double bed) to quadruple rooms (with two beds, often configured as two connecting rooms). All rooms feature individually controlled air conditioning, heating, and blackout curtains to keep the room dark during the day. Some rooms include a bath in addition to the shower. Storage is adequate with a wardrobe and seating area. Soundproofing between rooms can be limited, so rooms on quieter floors or away from high-traffic areas may suit light sleepers better. The rooms are generally described as spacious and comfortable, though a few reports note variable cleanliness and the absence of in-room tea/coffee-making facilities. No rooms have a balcony.

Breakfast is a continental buffet typically including bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, sausages, and fruit. Some find the selection adequate, while others note it can be repetitive and limited in variety - for instance, the same items daily and no dark bread. The coffee is provided via a machine. For those wanting a different meal, the surrounding area has a supermarket and several restaurants within walking distance. The hotel does not operate a lunch or dinner restaurant.
