HILTON GRAND VACATIONS CLUB ANDERSON OCEAN MYRTLE BEACH, Myrtle Beach

The property sits directly on the beach, with the ocean a few steps from the building. Myrtle Beach SkyWheel is 2 km away, and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is 2 km from the resort, placing the area's main entertainment and dining spots within a short walk. Myrtle Beach International Airport is 7 km away, making airport transfers quick by car or taxi. The resort offers free private parking on-site, with additional self-parking available across the street in a parking garage. For those without a car, the location is walkable to numerous restaurants within 0.5 km, including Sea Captain's House and New York Prime.

Accommodations range from studios to spacious two-bedroom suites, all with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a seating area, a safety deposit box, and a private bathroom with a bathtub or shower. Each unit has a balcony; oceanfront rooms provide uninterrupted sea views, while ocean-view rooms may face other buildings or have obstructed views. Many rooms include a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. Some units have recently been renovated with new furniture and appliances, while other areas remain dated with worn carpets and older fixtures. Beds are described as comfortable, though some units have beds that feel hard or lumpy. Noise can be an issue in rooms near the elevator or facing the parking garage, and road-facing rooms may hear traffic.

The resort does not have a full-service restaurant. A coffee shop in the lobby offers coffee, snacks, and light items, and a poolside bar serves drinks during the warmer months. A snack bar is also available. For fuller meals, several restaurants are within a 0.5 km walk, including Ultimate California Pizza, Sea Captain's House, and New York Prime. The property does not offer a complimentary breakfast; some units have a full kitchen, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. A simple continental breakfast is available for purchase, but options are limited, with no hot dishes or fresh fruit.

The property features an outdoor swimming pool open all year, with a hot tub and a lazy river. A second heated pool sits under the building but is not fully enclosed. The fitness centre is equipped with modern gym equipment, and the on-site spa offers a range of massage services, including back, couples, foot, full-body, and neck massage, as well as spa packages (additional charge). A spa and wellness centre with facilities is available. The beach is directly accessible from the pool area, making it easy to move between the two. The pool area can be busy during peak times, and seating is limited.

Free Wi-Fi is available in rooms and public areas, though some users report inconsistent connectivity. The property offers free private self-parking in a garage across the street (no reservation needed) and valet parking for an additional charge. The 24-hour front desk can provide luggage storage, express check-in, and concierge services. Dry cleaning and ironing services are available at an extra cost. A business centre with fax and photocopying is on-site. The property is wheelchair accessible, with raised toilets, grab rails, braille and tactile signs, and a lift. Safety features include 24-hour security, key card access, smoke alarms, and safety deposit boxes. Housekeeping is not automatically provided for stays under five nights but can be requested.
