The Toronto Zoo is close by, and popular fast-food options like McDonald's and Tim Hortons are within 500 meters, while The Keg steakhouse is immediately adjacent. The surrounding area is primarily suburban, with limited walkable amenities beyond the immediate strip.

The hotel offers well-sized rooms with a king or two queen beds, a flat-screen TV, a tea and coffee maker, a work desk, and in-room safe. Some rooms include a sitting area with a sofa bed. While functional and clean, the property is older and the decor is dated, with some guests noting worn carpets and bathrooms needing refresh. Rooms facing the highway or parking lot can pick up traffic and hallway noise, while interior-facing rooms tend to be quieter. Air conditioning is present but older units can be noisy; some have reported musty smells or dust from the system. All rooms are non-smoking, though lingering smoke odour has occasionally been noted.
