HOSTAL ALISTE, Madrid

The property sits on a side street just off Gran Vía, putting the city's main shopping, dining, and entertainment within steps. Puerta del Sol is a 4-minute walk away, while the Art Triangle museums (Prado, Thyssen, Reina Sofía) are within 20 minutes on foot. Madrid Cathedral and the Royal Palace are 1 km away. Gran Vía Metro station is a 30-second walk from the door, offering direct rail access to Barajas Airport in 40 minutes; Atocha AVE station is 2 km away. The immediate street has a 24-hour supermarket and a variety of restaurants, cafés, and shops within 5 minutes. The area is lively at all hours, with some street activity noted at night due to the central location.

Accommodation includes double, twin, triple, and single rooms, all with a private bathroom. Rooms are compact and practical, with tiled floors and simple, functional furnishings. Each has individually controlled air conditioning, heating, a minibar, electric kettle, flat-screen TV, safe, and wardrobe. Windows open for ventilation; rooms facing the rear of the building tend to be quieter, while those at the front may pick up street noise from Gran Vía. Some rooms have a balcony. Daily housekeeping is provided, and towels are refreshed on request. Beds are comfortable and the interiors are consistently clean, though room sizes are better suited to short stays or travellers who plan to spend most of their time out exploring.

Breakfast is not served at the property, but the surrounding area offers abundant dining options. Within a 5-minute walk there are restaurants serving Spanish, Sichuan, and Italian cuisine, as well as cafés and bars. A 24-hour supermarket is a 20-metre walk away for drinks and snacks. For a full meal, nearby choices include La Barraca and Restaurante de Sichuan (0.5 km) and Oven Mozzarella Bar Gran Via (0.5 km).
