HOSTEL IN SCHOOL, Prague

The hostel sits in the heart of Prague's historic district, just 6 minutes on foot from Charles Bridge and 9 minutes from Prague Castle. Old Town Square is a 17-minute stroll, and St. Vitus Cathedral is less than 1 km away. The location is exceptionally walkable for sightseeing; most landmarks, restaurants, and bars are within a 300-metre radius. Vaclav Havel Airport is 12 km from the property. No parking is available, but public transport and walking are the practical options for getting around.

The hostel is an operating school during the year, used as accommodation in summer. Rooms are former classrooms, offering a large and airy layout not typical of standard hostels. Accommodation is in adults-only, ground-floor units with quiet street views. Each bed has individual charging ports and a reading light. Beds are comfortable for the price range, and desks and chairs are used for personal storage. Shared bathroom facilities include showers and hairdryers, and are cleaned regularly. The atmosphere is social yet respectful, with quiet hours maintained overnight. No rooms have a private bathroom or a balcony.

The hostel does not operate a restaurant or serve breakfast as a standard inclusion; breakfast availability depends on the room type and dates selected. Guests who want to cook can use the large, well-equipped shared kitchen with ample utensils, microwaves, and dining space. Free tea and coffee are available. The immediate neighbourhood is packed with dining options: Italian, Czech pubs, and casual bars are all within a 300-metre radius, including Pork's, Restaurace Malostranska beseda, and Pizza Canzone. For those wanting a fuller meal, a short walk reaches a wide variety of cuisines.

Wellness and leisure are centred on social and outdoor activities. The hostel provides badminton equipment, entertainment staff, and pub crawls (for an additional charge). There is a foosball table, board games, and a courtyard garden with seating - a pleasant space for relaxing. An indoor common room offers musical instruments, books, and a shared lounge/TV area. The property does not have a swimming pool, spa, or gym. The concept of staying in a converted school building adds a unique, playful atmosphere to the leisure experience.

Free Wi-Fi is available in some rooms and common areas. The 24-hour front desk offers tour desk assistance and luggage storage (free). Secure lockers are available: bring your own padlock or rent one for 2 EUR (plus 1 EUR deposit). A shared kitchen, shared lounge/TV area, and a vending machine for drinks are on site. Daily housekeeping keeps the facility clean. Security includes 24-hour security, CCTV, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and safety deposit boxes (free). Bicycle parking is available. The property accepts Visa and MasterCard, and euros in cash with on-site currency exchange to CZK.
