Hotel Details

Location

A short walk from two metro stations, with a bus stop right outside providing direct links to the city centre and train stations.

Hotel Balbo is set in a quiet residential area of Turin, 600 metres from both Marche and Massaua metro stops. The metro connects to the city centre in about 10 minutes and provides direct access to the Egyptian Museum (6 stops, also a 15-minute walk). The Cinema Museum at Mole Antonelliana is 7 km away, and Reggia di Venaria Royal Palace is a 15-minute drive. A bus to the train stations and city centre stops a few steps from the hotel, making car-free travel easy. The neighbourhood is calm and offers several good pizzerias, restaurants, and shops within a short walk - such as Pizzeria Capri (0.5 km) and L'Aquila (0.5 km). Metro and bus both provide convenient access to the Juventus Stadium. Free street parking is available in the surrounding streets.

Dining

Italian-style breakfast with hot and cold drinks, croissants, cakes, and pastries, served from 07:00 to 11:00.

Breakfast is served in a small dining room and includes croissants, cakes, tarts, yoghurt, cereals, and excellent coffee or cappuccino. The spread is sweet-oriented - no hot savoury items are offered - but portions are generous and the homemade cakes are widely appreciated. Guests can also order coffee, tea, or other drinks to their room upon request. There is no restaurant on the property for lunch or dinner, but the surrounding area offers several pizzerias and trattorias within a short walk. The breakfast room is small; during peak times you may need to wait for a free table. Staff prepare and serve breakfast, and the atmosphere is friendly and family-run.

“Location is nice, away from the center so it's easy to find free car parking in the streets around the hotel.”
