Adenauerplatz and Uhlandstraße underground stations are a 7-minute walk, and Savignyplatz S-Bahn station is about 10-12 minutes on foot. The area is well connected to Tegel Airport, the ICC Messe Exhibition Centre, and the city centre. The hotel sits on a peaceful street, yet the main shopping boulevard with boutiques, restaurants and cafés is only steps away - ideal for exploring West Berlin. Several restaurants, including La Gioconda, Sagano, and Restaurant Phoenicia, are within a 5-minute walk. A Lidl supermarket is also nearby for self-catering supplies. The S-Bahn provides direct routes to the Museumsinsel, Hauptbahnhof and even Potsdam without changing trains.

Room sizes vary; some are spacious with high ceilings while others are compact. A few rooms have a shared toilet on the hallway. Most rooms feature a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The furniture is simple and functional, and some rooms include a sitting area, desk, and carpeted flooring. While the historic building offers character, the furnishings are quite basic and some areas show wear. For greater comfort, request a room with a balcony, which some units offer. Rooms facing the internal courtyard tend to be very quiet. Daily housekeeping is provided. Heating is available, but there is no air conditioning - a fan can be provided during warm weather. Windows open for ventilation, but some rooms with street-facing double-glazed windows may admit external noise.

The breakfast buffet includes bread, cold cuts, cheese, and hot drinks from a machine, as well as a selection of jams. It is served in a bright dining room. For lunch or dinner, the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, but the surrounding area on and around Kurfürstendamm offers a wide variety of dining options within a short walk - from Lebanese and Italian to international cuisine. Keep in mind that breakfast is the only meal served at the property; plan other meals outside the hotel.
