HOTEL LE CELESTE, Nice

The location is strongly walkable: Nice-Ville Train Station is just 2-3 minutes on foot, providing direct services to the airport, nearby towns and along the coast. Shops, supermarkets such as U Express, cafés and numerous restaurants are all within a short walk - including Le Buggy, La Pause Cafe and Le Soleil d'Asie at 0.5 km. The tram stop nearby offers easy car-free travel around the city. Plage Lido is 14 minutes away on foot, and the Promenade des Anglais is also accessible via the same route. The neighbourhood is generally calm and practical, though some entrances remain unsecured overnight.

Units range from studios to larger apartments with separate living rooms and multiple bedrooms, offering flexibility for solo travellers, couples or groups. All include a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster and electric kettle; some add a coffee machine and outdoor dining furniture. The bathroom is private with a hairdryer, and most units have a bathtub - though in several studios the bath sits directly beside the bed with minimal separation. Sound insulation between rooms is limited, so noise from neighbouring units and hallway can be noticeable. Rooms vary in layout, with some offering a balcony and a more spacious feel. The property has no lift, so upper-floor apartments require stair access.

Some apartments feature a hot tub or spa bath, which is included at no extra charge. The jets can be used for relaxation, though they may produce noise audible to neighbouring rooms. The surrounding neighbourhood offers walking tours as a leisure option. For beach access, Plage Lido is a 14-minute walk away. There is no pool, gym, or other on-site wellness facility beyond the hot tub.

WiFi is provided free of charge in all areas and is generally reliable, though some units have reported inconsistent speeds. The property operates without a permanent on-site reception; check-in uses a keybox system and support is available by phone or WhatsApp. Concierge service is available to assist with requests. There is no parking on site, so guests travelling by car will need to find public parking in the surrounding streets. No lift is available - all apartments are accessed by stairs. Safety features include CCTV in common areas, fire extinguishers and smoke alarms. The entrance door has sometimes been reported as open overnight, so guests may prefer to use the individual apartment locks.
