HOTEL MISTRAL, Milan

Situated near Rogoredo FS, the hotel is 5-10 minutes on foot from Metro Line 3, which connects directly to the Duomo, Central Station and Rho Fiera exhibition centre (one change at Duomo). Rogoredo train station is also within walking distance, making it ideal for travellers arriving by train or needing Malpensa Airport bus connections. The immediate area includes several dining options such as L'artista del gusto and Borromeo Restaurant By Eataly (0.3-0.5 km). For business visitors, the location is within a 10-minute drive of Linate Airport. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet at night. Light sleepers may prefer a room away from the street as occasional railway crossing noise can be audible.

Room types include quadruple and family rooms, some of which are spacious and well-suited for families or groups. The quadruple rooms have two separate sinks. Some rooms feature modern furniture, while others have older finishes. Bathrooms in some units show signs of age, including rust on metal parts and mixers that only run hot or cold water. Air conditioning is centrally controlled and cannot be adjusted from the unit. Noise levels between rooms are significant; conversations and movement in corridors are easily audible. Road-facing rooms and those on lower floors are more exposed to outside noise. There are no balconies or minibars. Tea/coffee facilities are provided in some rooms. Rooms are cleaned daily upon request for servicing. Luggage storage is available free of charge before check-in or after check-out.

The breakfast buffet includes pre-packaged pastries, croissants, biscuits, sliced bread with cold cuts (mortadella, salami), boiled eggs, fruit yoghurt (often Müller), fresh fruit, cereal, and a slow coffee machine. Some find the variety limited and the quality basic, but it covers essential items. Breakfast in the room is also available as an alternative. The hotel does not operate a restaurant for lunch or dinner, but several dining choices are within a short walk: L'artista del gusto (0.5 km), La Plancia (0.5 km), and Borromeo Restaurant By Eataly (0.5 km). There is a 24-hour bar in the lounge area, but the coffee machine can be slow. No microwave is available for guest use.

The hotel provides free Wi-Fi in rooms, a 24-hour reception, free luggage storage, and room service. A bar is open in the lounge area. On-site private parking is available for €12 per day but must be reserved in advance, as spaces are limited; street parking is not recommended due to a risk of break-ins. An electric vehicle charging station is available. The property has a lift, is non-smoking throughout, and features heating, family rooms, and safety features including fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and a security alarm. Fax/photocopying services are offered for an additional charge. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, JCB, Maestro, CartaSi, and MasterCard, though the city tax is cash-only. No airport shuttle service is available. The hotel does not have a microwave for guest use.
