The hostel sits on a main street in Chinatown, within a 1-minute walk of the metro station and bus stop. Central Market, Merdeka Square, and Masjid Jamek are all within 10-15 minutes on foot. KL Sentral is 2 km away (5-minute metro ride), and the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia is a 15-minute walk. Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport is 22 km. The area around the hostel has numerous homeless individuals at night, but the immediate location is busy and well-connected.

Room options include single, double, twin, quadruple, and dormitory beds. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a wardrobe and seating area. Bathrooms are shared per floor - no rooms have private bathrooms. Many rooms have no windows; request a window room if needed. Walls are thin, and noise from adjacent rooms and the rooftop bar (especially on weekends) carries easily. Some rooms are very small (around 5 m2). Bed linens are provided, but towels require a refundable deposit. The quadruple room has one double bed and one bunk bed, suitable for families, though note the adults-only policy.

The hostel does not sell breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Guests can find a wide variety of restaurants and cafes within a short walk, including Antipodean City Centre, Starlite Cafe, Lucy In The Sky Cafe, Old China Cafe, Restoran Annexe Nasi Kanda, Pondok Manis, Chinatown Heritage Cafe, and Fung Wong - all within 0.3-0.5 km. Petaling Street market also has many street food stalls. For self-catering, there is a shared refrigerator and a water dispenser with drinkable water.

The hostel offers arrangements for hiking trips and tours about local culture. There is no pool, gym, or spa on the property. A small garden provides an outdoor space. The rooftop bar operates on weekends and is a social venue but can be noisy for rooms nearby.
