HOTEL VGO, Kuala Lumpur

Set in a convenient area, the hotel is across from KL East Mall and steps from numerous eateries, minimarkets, and other amenities. It is 32 km from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, 5 km from the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory, and 14 km from Petronas Twin Towers and Suria KLCC. The surrounding area offers a pleasant environment with easy access to food and shopping, making it well-suited for both short stays and longer visits. On-site parking is available, reducing the need for a car though public transport is also an option.

Rooms include air conditioning, soundproof walls, tiled floors, a flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle. The family room offers a quiet street view and two beds. There is one room that fits exactly three adults with a queen and a single bed. Single (Bachelor) rooms have no windows. Twin rooms have a quiet street view. All rooms come with a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. The property is older and basic but prioritises cleanliness and practicality, making it a straightforward choice for travellers who value location and essential comfort over modern decor.

The hotel does not have its own restaurant or breakfast service. However, it is surrounded by a wide variety of eateries within a very short walk, and a minimarket is on-site for snacks and essentials. This setup works well for guests who prefer to eat independently or explore the local food scene. The electric kettle in each room allows for hot drinks.

The 24-hour front desk and private check-in/out streamline the arrival process. Free Wi-Fi is available but functions reliably only on the ground floor. Paid on-site parking does not require a reservation. Daily housekeeping is provided. Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, and key card access. An iron is available for guest use. For longer stays of one month or more, a 10% discount applies when paying a lump sum. There is no lift, so all rooms are accessible only via stairs.
