HOTEL VITTORIA - LUCEHOTELS, Siena

Situated just outside the historic city walls, the hotel offers direct access to Siena's main landmarks on foot. Porta Pispini leads through the city's old gate, and the main square, Piazza del Campo, is a pleasant walk away. This location works well for walkers and for those arriving by car, as on-site parking is available. The neighbourhood itself has cafes and restaurants close by. For day trips into the Tuscan countryside, the hotel's position near the city's edge provides a quick departure route. A bus stop is situated practically opposite the entrance, offering an alternative for reaching the city centre.

Accommodation consists of double rooms, all featuring air conditioning, heating, soundproof walls, a private entrance, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, and free toiletries. Some rooms include an outdoor dining area or a terrace with garden views. Rooms on the first floor are accessed via 22 steps with no elevator. The style is modern with a minimalist black-and-white finish; the painted floor surfaces are harder-wearing but can show marks over time. Superior rooms, bookable on the ground floor, are notably more spacious. For those sensitive to noise, rooms facing the street near a three-way traffic junction can pick up road sounds, especially when windows are open - a room away from the road or on the upper floor is a better option. The property offers a sun terrace for all guests, and some rooms share balcony space.

The hotel does not have a full restaurant. Breakfast is offered on request - typically a light Italian-style breakfast with a hot drink and a brioche, served in the room or on the shared terrace. For a fuller meal, several eateries are within a short walk: Osteria Della Badia Nuova (0.5 km), Ponte di Romana (0.5 km), and Rakki Sushi (1 km) are nearby examples. A vending machine for drinks is also available on site. Given the absence of a full restaurant, guests who prefer a substantial dinner should plan to eat out, and the staff can provide local recommendations.

Wellness facilities are not present - there is no spa, swimming pool, or gym. The main leisure offering is the outdoor space: a sun terrace with furniture overlooking the surrounding countryside, which serves as a pleasant spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. Some rooms also have a private terrace or balcony with garden or hill views. For further leisure, the property is a short walk from the historic centre, and the surrounding Tuscan countryside provides ample opportunity for day trips by car.

Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the property. Daily housekeeping is included, and luggage storage can be used for early arrivals or late departures. The hotel offers a concierge service, car hire, and a shared lounge/TV area. A vending machine for drinks is available. For business needs, fax/photocopying is possible for an additional charge. Private parking is on site (narrow, steep ramp; small cars recommended) and costs €15 per night; no reservation is allowed. The building has 24-hour security via smoke alarms and fire extinguishers, and key-card access is used for rooms. Pets are welcome on request at €10 per day.
