The United States Embassy is 4 km away, and Benito Juárez International Airport is 8 km off. The nearest metro station is a short walk, making it easy to reach other parts of the city without a car. Within two blocks there are several restaurants (including Taquería Arandas, El Balcón del Zócalo, Café La Blanca), a 24-hour convenience store, and El Popular bakery downstairs. For those attending events at the Zócalo or exploring the city on foot, this location is a strong asset.

The hotel offers double, twin, quadruple, and family rooms. Private bathrooms have a shower; some rooms may have a shared bathroom. Room conditions vary: some are newly painted and spotless with comfortable beds, crisp sheets, and a good TV (with Netflix). Others are very small, with poorly designed bathrooms where the shower drenches the entire toilet and floor, drainage smells, intense heat, mosquitoes, and very thin walls that carry noise from neighbours and street traffic (including an alarm from the bank opposite). One room reportedly lacked a window. A fan is available from reception, but only one fan exists for the entire hotel. Some rooms feature a small balcony facing the street. The hotel is basic and better suited to travellers who prioritise location and price over comfort, soundproofing, or modern amenities.

The hotel has no wellness or leisure amenities such as a pool, spa, gym, or sauna. An ice-skating rink is available in the surrounding area but is not part of the property. With the historic centre's attractions (Zócalo, Cathedral, museums) a short walk away, most leisure will be found outside the hotel.
