The neighbourhood around Piazza Bologna offers shops, restaurants, and the green expanse of Villa Torlonia park, making it a practical base for tourists. The metro runs directly beneath the building, with some rumbling and vibration until late evening. Road-facing rooms also pick up street noise including sirens from nearby hospitals. For airport transfers, a private shuttle can be arranged.

Rooms vary from simply furnished doubles with parquet floors to a larger quadruple room with a balcony and garden view. An attic room offers a 20-m2 terrace and a spa bath, while other units have tiled floors and sitting areas. Each room has a private bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries. Air conditioning is standard, though units in some rooms may be noisy. The rooms are generally basic in décor and some feel compact or dated. Bed comfort and pillow quality vary, and street-facing rooms can be loud. Daily housekeeping is available, but the level of thoroughness may differ. The property has no lift, so upper floors require climbing stairs.
