ISEPO APARTMENT, Venice

The apartment sits on a quiet cobbled lane in the Giardini Biennale area, a 10-minute walk from the Giardini vaporetto stop. It is 5 minutes from the Biennale modern art exhibition and within 1 km of Doge's Palace, Basilica San Marco, and Piazza San Marco. Venice Marco Polo Airport is 19 km away - take the ATVO airport bus to Piazzale Roma, then public boat line 5.1 to the Giardini stop. From Treviso Airport, a shuttle bus to Piazzale Roma (1 hour) plus the same boat connection works well. The neighbourhood feels authentic and local, with supermarkets and chemists a 15-minute walk through a park, and a bakery at the end of the street.

The apartment sleeps up to 2 guests in one bedroom (2 beds) and includes a living room, a bathroom with shower and bidet, and a fully equipped kitchen with stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and kitchenware. It features air conditioning, heating, soundproof walls, a washing machine, dryer, tea and coffee maker, ironing facilities, a flat-screen TV, and free WiFi. The unit offers a quiet street view and a private entrance. The furnishings have an eclectic, homely feel, and the space is considered large by Venetian standards. The host often leaves a welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk, and biscuits.

The apartment's fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware) makes self-catering straightforward. A baker is at the end of the street for fresh bread, and a quality restaurant/pizzeria is just around the corner. For dining out, there are several options within a 5-10 minute walk: Caffe la Serra (0.5 km) for coffee and toast, Trattoria alla Rampa (0.5 km), Ristorante InParadiso (0.5 km), and Hostaria All'Ombra (0.5 km). A wine bar is also a stone's throw away. The neighbourhood has a local, non-touristy feel with good-value restaurants.

Leisure options include a golf course within 3 km, available for an additional charge. The Giardini della Biennale (Biennale Gardens) are just 5 minutes away on foot, offering green space and art exhibitions. The immediate area is very walkable and quiet, with the vaporetto providing easy access to the rest of Venice's attractions. The apartment's location suits culture-focused stays, particularly for those attending the Biennale or wanting a calm base.

WiFi is free and reliable throughout the apartment. Daily housekeeping is available at no extra cost (request at check-in). Laundry service is also available. The apartment has a safety deposit box, and heating is included. No parking is available on site - the most practical way to arrive is by water bus (vaporetto) to the Giardini stop, where the host can meet you. Internet access is free. The host lives locally and is very responsive, providing a detailed video and step-by-step directions for a smooth arrival if a meet-and-greet isn't possible.
