Dublin Airport is a short 15-minute bus ride away on the number 16, which also runs directly to the city centre via O'Connell Street. The National Botanic Gardens (4 km) and Croke Park (4 km) are within walking distance for events, while Trinity College and the Book of Kells are 9 km south. A supermarket, a lively pub, and a takeaway are within a few minutes' walk, and the immediate area includes a café. Rooms vary from a single room with one bed to a Double Attic Room and the triple room with two beds - ideal for families or groups. All rooms include a flat-screen TV, and some have been renovated with comfortable beds. Bathroom facilities are shared, not en-suite, which is a key consideration for those preferring private arrangements. The shared kitchen allows guests to cook and store food, and the homestay atmosphere means the hosts are hands-on in ensuring comfort. Rooms facing the road can be quieter than expected given the neighbourhood's calm, and the property is kept clean throughout.

Breakfast includes cereals, bread with a selection of jams, and unlimited tea and instant coffee. While simple, it is a practical start for those heading to the airport or city. The shared kitchen is available for preparing meals, and the supermarket and takeaway nearby offer wider options. For evening dining, the pub across the road serves food and drinks, and a restaurant like Nando's is a 2 km drive. The hosts often accommodate dietary needs if requested.

The property offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms and free on-site parking without reservation. Guests can use the shared kitchen for cooking and the garden with outdoor furniture for relaxing. Luggage storage is available after checkout, allowing exploration before departure. Check-in is at 11:00 and check-out at 10:00, with late arrivals possible if arranged with the hosts. No pets are allowed, and the homestay provides a smoke-free environment. The hosts are known for being responsive and offering practical advice on transport and local spots.
