Komatsuya sits in a quiet residential neighbourhood just five minutes on foot from Tokyo Skytree, near the Skytree Station. The Sumida Cultural Museum and Tobacco & Salt Museum are within walking distance. Asakusa's temples and markets are reachable on foot, while Ueno is also close by - making it easy to explore Tokyo's historic and cultural core without public transport. Haneda Airport is 20 km away. The surrounding streets have a quiet, local atmosphere, with many cafes and restaurants within a 5- to 15-minute walk.

Room options include compact units of 4, 10, and 12 m², as well as family rooms with bunk beds that provide a more spacious feel by placing the desk below and the sleeping area above. All bathrooms are shared - no private bathroom option exists. Each room has air conditioning, heating, a work desk, a hairdryer, and slippers. Ground-floor rooms are available for easier access. Rooms are non-smoking throughout. Extra beds are not available, except in one specific room type. Some rooms feature stylish decor, including vinyl records, creating a nostalgic and homely atmosphere.
