LOFT PUERTA DE SOL, Madrid

This central position places guests within a 4-minute walk of Mercado San Miguel, 200 metres from Plaza Mayor, and less than 1 km from Gran Vía. The Prado Museum and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum are 1 km away, and the Reina Sofía Museum is a 16-minute walk. Gran Vía Metro Station is 700 metres away, and Plaza de España Metro Station is 1 km from the apartment, making walking the most practical way to explore. Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 14 km away, best reached by metro or taxi.

The apartment includes 1 bedroom with 2 beds and a living room with a sofa bed. The bathroom is very compact - the toilet is positioned against the door and the shower head has been reported as rusty. There is no wardrobe or closet. The sofa bed is hard, and the main mattress and pillows are frequently described as uncomfortable and causing poor sleep. The unit is on an upper floor with no blackout curtains; natural light enters early. Parquet floors and a flat-screen TV with streaming services are provided.

The property focuses on providing a compact city-centre base rather than recreational amenities. Guests seeking spa, pool, or gym facilities will need to explore options in the surrounding area, such as the many cafés, shops, and cultural landmarks within walking distance.

The property offers free Wi-Fi in public areas, though the signal reliability within the unit has been inconsistent due to past router issues. Reception staff speak Spanish and provide private check-in/out. Cleaning services include a trouser press (free of charge). Safety features include CCTV in common areas and key access. No parking, pets, or smoking are allowed. An invoice is provided for business stays.
