St. John's Lateran Basilica is a 10-minute walk, and Domus Aurea is 2 km away. For those arriving by train from the airport, Termini is a short ride away, and from there it is a 4-minute train ride to San Giovanni station. The neighbourhood offers numerous shops, supermarkets, and restaurants within a few minutes' walk, making daily errands and eating out very convenient.

The property offers a mix of rooms with either shared or private bathrooms. The private bathroom includes a shower, hairdryer, and towels and comes with an electric toilet unit; shared bathrooms also feature a shower and bidet. Some rooms include a balcony. Rooms are generally described as clean and of sufficient size for two people, with a wardrobe and plenty of hangers. However, because the walls are thin, noise from neighbouring rooms can be heard. Some rooms may have windows that do not close completely, and the windows are single-glazed, which can let in cold draughts during winter. The heating system works well, and the air conditioning is effective for cooling. The beds are noted for comfort, though some mattresses have been described as very thin, more like a camping mattress, offering limited support.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service at the property.
