MOXY HAMBURG - FINKENWERDER, Hamburg

The hotel is at the eastern gate of the Airbus factory, making it the prime choice for Airbus business visits or enthusiasts. Hamburg city centre is about 16 km away, reachable by bus and then a scenic ferry crossing (around one hour), or by car via the Elbe tunnel. A bus stop is right outside the hotel, and the ferry landing is a 5-10 minute drive or four bus stops away. Parking on site costs €20 per day, and street parking is scarce. The neighbourhood is residential and quiet, with a supermarket and bakery within 100 metres.

The hotel offers double, twin, and family rooms (family rooms include a sofa bed). All rooms come with a private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and hairdryer, air conditioning, heating, and a flat-screen TV. The design is modern and functional, with no wardrobe or cupboard - ideal for short stays, but less practical for longer visits. Rooms on the upper floors are accessible by lift. Some rooms face a busy road and may experience traffic noise; requesting a room away from the road is recommended for light sleepers. The property is non-smoking throughout and provides allergy-free rooms on request.

The hotel's restaurant, 'The Now Bar', offers a buffet breakfast for an additional charge of €19 per person, plus lunch and dinner with international cuisine. The bar is open 24 hours and provides a welcoming drink, a limited menu, and a relaxing atmosphere. A coffee shop and snack bar are also on site. For self-catering options, a bakery and a REWE supermarket are within a 100-metre walk. The breakfast buffet includes hot dishes, pastries, and fresh fruit, though organisation and replenishment can sometimes be inconsistent.

The hotel features a free fitness centre equipped with a punching bag, allowing guests to maintain their workout routine. Leisure activities are otherwise limited to board games available at reception and an outdoor seating area with furniture. No pool, spa, or sauna is present. The nearby area offers good walking routes and access to the Elbe ferry for scenic harbour trips into central Hamburg.

The hotel provides a 24-hour front desk and key card access for security. Services include free luggage storage and lockers, a business centre, and chargeable meeting/banquet facilities. Wheelchair accessibility is supported with an emergency cord in the bathroom, lower sink, raised toilet, grab rails, and step-free access. A lift serves all upper floors. An electric vehicle charging station is available in the parking garage (€20 per day). Pets are allowed with applicable charges; pet baskets and bowls are offered. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, JCB, Discover, and MasterCard.
