The apartment is situated in a central but less polished neighbourhood, with narrow streets and some street noise from the square and nearby waste collection. The area is walkable: the Jorge Rando Museum is 12 minutes away, and Malaga María Zambrano Train Station is 1 km away. Several restaurants and shops are within a 5-minute walk. Night-time noise can be significant, including bird activity from a nearby roost.

The apartment has a bedroom and bathroom upstairs, both with sloping ceilings that can be awkward for occupants over 1.70 m tall. The main living area has a sofa, flat-screen TV (no nearby power point), and parquet floors. The kitchen is well equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, kitchenware and a washing machine. A coffee maker and a few complimentary capsules are provided. The mattress is a foam type that some find very firm. Blackout blinds are available but rooms can feel small. There is no lift, making upper-floor access difficult with suitcases.
