OPERA SUITES, Madrid

The property sits on a calm residential street just 200 metres from the Royal Palace and 2 minutes from Opera metro station. All major landmarks - Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel - are within a 10-minute walk. The apartment is an ideal base for exploring the city entirely on foot. Gran Vía's shops and theatres are 4 minutes away, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is 2 km. For airport transfers, the distance is 13 km; the paid shuttle or a direct metro line avoid the need for a car. Numerous restaurants, cafés and a supermarket are immediately outside. The only limitation is the complete absence of parking, making the property unsuitable for drivers.

The apartment comprises one separate bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a sofa bed, and two bathrooms - one with a walk-in shower. It is air-conditioned throughout and features parquet floors, a flat-screen TV, a washing machine, and a well-equipped kitchen with stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and all cookware. The interior overlooks a quiet inner courtyard, helping to keep noise low. The double bed is generally described as comfortable, while the sofa bed is firmer and better suited for short stays or children. The apartment is modern, clean, and well maintained. Families with small children find the space practical and the separate bedroom useful. For a family of four with older children, note that the only extra bed is the sofa bed in the living room, not two single beds.

The apartment itself offers no on-site wellness or leisure facilities. The strength of the location compensates: the Royal Palace is a 3-minute walk, the Temple of Debod is 2 km, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is also 2 km. Opera metro station is a 2-minute walk, providing quick access to Retiro Park, the Prado Museum, and other city-wide attractions. For those wanting to relax in green space, Parque del Oeste is also reachable on foot. The apartment's quiet inner courtyard view and air conditioning provide a calm retreat after a day of sightseeing.

The property provides free Wi-Fi throughout. A lift serves the third-floor apartment. Luggage storage is available at the agency office, which is useful for early arrivals or late departures. An airport shuttle can be booked for an additional fee (40€ for two people) and must be requested after the reservation is confirmed. Daily housekeeping is also available for an extra charge. Reception staff speak English, Spanish, Croatian, Italian, and Polish. The agency communicates primarily via WhatsApp and the entry is handled through a mobile app, which provides flexibility. Safety features include a safety deposit box, key access, and fire extinguishers. Accepted payment methods: Visa, JCB, Maestro, UnionPay, MasterCard.
