The area around the hospital can be busy, with heavy traffic on Broadway and frequent ambulance and air ambulance activity. Room sizes are generally small, and the decor is described as dated. Key room features include air conditioning and heating, though the A/C unit can be noisy - especially in Broadway-facing rooms, which also suffer from significant street noise. Rooms at the rear of the hotel are quieter. Bed comfort varies: some find the beds comfortable, while others describe them as very firm. Pillows are thick and firm. Views from higher floors (5th and 6th) facing the city can be spectacular, offering a skyline and mountain panorama. Rooms with a balcony exist but are limited.
