PINZOCHERE PT, Florence

The apartment is situated on a quiet alley just off Piazza Santa Croce, placing the Basilica of Santa Croce within a one-minute walk. From here, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria, and Ponte Vecchio are all reachable on foot in less than 15 minutes. Florence Airport is 11 km away, and the central train station is about a 20-minute walk. The immediate area is packed with restaurants and wine bars, such as Enoteca Pinchiorri and Bisteccheria Santa Croce, all within 300 metres. The quiet street means little noise penetrates the apartment, even at night.

The apartment sleeps up to four people across one bedroom plus a sofa bed in the living area. There are two separate bathrooms, both with showers - a major advantage for groups. The master bedroom includes a comfortable double bed; the living area has a dining table, sitting area, and flat-screen TV. The kitchen is well equipped with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, kettle, and washing machine. Air conditioning and soundproofed walls help maintain a comfortable indoor climate, especially during summer months. The courtyard is a functional utility space with a washing machine, not a furnished terrace. Some fittings show signs of wear: the sofa may have marks, and one shower head may not fix securely to the wall. The overall feel is spacious and clean, with wooden beams adding character.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, kettle, and coffee maker, making self-catering easy. The immediate neighbourhood is dense with dining: Enoteca Pinchiorri, Bisteccheria Santa Croce, Trattoria Osteria Da Que' Ganzi, and Salino Restaurant & Wine Bar are all within 0.5 km. Breakfast essentials can be purchased at nearby grocery stores. Guests who prefer a lighter start can use the coffee machine and tea facilities. The property also offers grocery deliveries for an additional charge.

WiFi is free and available in all rooms, though signal strength can vary; a technician resolved a previous outage promptly. Express check-in and private check-in/out are offered, along with luggage storage before official check-in or after departure. Public parking is located at a nearby garage and costs €30 per day; no reservation is needed, but the area is a limited-traffic zone, so driving close to the apartment is difficult. Babysitting and child services can be arranged for an additional fee, and cots are available on request. The property is on the ground floor, requiring only minimal stairs. Security includes smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and key access.
