President Hotel Villa sits in the heart of South Beach, less than two minutes' walk from the sand. The Art Deco Historic District is 700 metres away, Lincoln Road is 800 metres, and the restaurants and bars of Española Way are around the corner. Miami International Airport is 15 km away. Public parking is available nearby (reservation not needed) at a cost of US$52.97 per day, or valet parking from $20-$48.15 per day. A free trolley bus stop is a short walk away, making it easy to explore without a car. The location is walkable to all major South Beach attractions, but the area can be busy and noisy, especially on weekends.

Rooms range from compact double rooms to spacious suites with a private terrace. All include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a safe, and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Some rooms feature a balcony or pool view. Rooms in the Villa building are smaller and can feel dated; road-facing rooms may experience street noise, while rooms facing alleys or walls have limited views. Wi-Fi signal can be weak in certain rooms (e.g. room 309). The smallest rooms lack a wardrobe. For a quieter stay, choose a room on the back side of the Villa building. Suites with a terrace are available but tend to be booked early.

Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee. The buffet is served, not fully self-service, and operates from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. The breakfast area can become crowded, especially after 9 AM, and queues are common. An outdoor seating area is available but may attract pigeons. The bar in the lobby offers a welcome drink (limited selection) and operates limited hours; no prices are listed. Outside dining: eight restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Pane & Vino, Havana 1957, and La Sandwicherie.

The pool is small and can be crowded, especially during peak season; arriving early helps secure a lounger. The rooftop closes at 5:30 PM, limiting sunset use. Beach towels are provided at the hotel; beach chairs and umbrellas must be rented on the beach directly. No spa or fitness centre is on site. The adjacent Penguin Hotel offers an outdoor sitting area for guests.

Wi-Fi is free of charge in all areas. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. Daily housekeeping is not automatic; it is provided every 3 days unless a request is made for more frequent service. The elevator requires a key card; in some buildings it can be unreliable.
