The hostel sits on a street lined with bars, pubs and restaurants, making it ideal for those wanting nightlife close by. Clarke Quay MRT station (5-10 minutes on foot) connects to Sentosa, and Raffles Place MRT (10 minutes) provides direct airport access. Major attractions such as Marina Bay, Merlion Park, and Boat Quay's riverside promenade are within a 10-15-minute walk. The street can be noisy until early morning, especially on weekends, with loud music and crowds. Taxis are not always readily available directly outside; walking to a main road or using the MRT is more reliable. Several restaurants and a 7-Eleven are within a 3-8-minute walk.

Rooms are small and functional, typically with bunk beds (some stacked three-high) and little floor space for luggage. Most rooms have no windows or natural ventilation; air conditioning provides cooling but the air can feel stale. Bedding includes a mattress (some wrapped in plastic), pillow, and a duvet cover, and each bed has a reading light and power socket. The thin capsule blinds do not block light if another occupant uses their lamp, and metal bunk beds can creak with movement. En-suite bathrooms are compact wet rooms where the shower is next to the toilet, and the floor often stays wet. Shared toilets/showers are available on each floor. Noise from hallways and nearby rooms travels easily, so earplugs are recommended. Rooms are cleaned daily, but some areas may show wear.

Breakfast is a DIY buffet: bread (white toast), a selection of spreads (jam, Nutella, peanut butter), cereals, milk, and packaged juice, plus two eggs per person to fry on an outdoor electric griddle. Coffee and tea are available through a machine. The breakfast area is also the lobby lounge and has limited seating; it can feel crowded during peak hours. The hostel does not operate a restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner, but the street is lined with dining options from hawker-style food courts to riverside restaurants, including Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, Yan Kee Noodle House, and JUMBO Seafood Gallery (all within 0.5 km). There is a water dispenser available 24/7 for refilling bottles.

The hostel does not have a pool, gym, spa, or games room. The ground-floor common area is a small lounge with seating and a TV, but it functions primarily as the breakfast and reception space and has little atmosphere for socialising. The main recreation is the surrounding area: the Singapore River promenade, Boat Quay, and Clarke Quay offer bars, restaurants, live music, and river cruises within a few minutes' walk. Board games are available for use in the common area.
