REALKASA TRAIN PLAZA APARTMENT, Bologna

The apartment is across the street from Bologna Central Station, making it a top choice for train travellers exploring other Italian cities. The historic centre with Piazza Maggiore is an easy 10- to 15-minute walk through the main shopping street Via dell'Indipendenza (600 metres). Bologna Fair is 4 km away and Bologna Airport is 10 km, reachable in about 30 minutes by taxi or train. The area is lively with bars, cafés, and restaurants, including a food court downstairs.

The recently renovated apartment sleeps up to 5 people across a separate bedroom (with one double and one single bed) and a living room with a double sofa bed. There is one bathroom with a shower and bidet. The kitchenette includes a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, and all cookware. The unit is air-conditioned, well-heated, and has a washing machine, ironing facilities, and a flat-screen TV. The private entrance leads to an inner courtyard-facing terrace. Note that the building is on a busy street, but the apartment's orientation towards the courtyard keeps it quiet. The shower temperature control requires careful adjustment.

The apartment provides a well-equipped kitchenette perfect for preparing meals; fresh ingredients can be bought from nearby markets. A highly rated restaurant is located right downstairs in the building's gallery for easy lunches or dinners. The surrounding streets are packed with options: pizza, gelato, bars, and international chains like KFC (0.5 km), plus local favourites such as La bottega del caffe (0.5 km) and Venchi Cioccolato e Gelato (0.5 km). Breakfast is not included, but the kitchenette and local cafés offer flexible morning options.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The building has a lift and key card entry for security. The property offers private check-in/check-out, and staff speak English and Italian. The host is known for being helpful, punctual, and flexible. Luggage storage is allowed for late departures. No parking is available. A baby cot can be rented for an extra cost but must be arranged in advance. There is a security gate that occasionally closes, so having clear instructions is recommended.
