RENT A ROOM - RESIDENCE BLANCHE, Paris

The property sits 800 metres from Opéra Garnier and an 8-minute walk from Gare Saint-Lazare, giving direct rail access across the city and airport connections. Montmartre, the Théâtre Mogador, and La Cigale concert hall are within a 15-minute walk. Two metro lines are a few minutes away, making car-free sightseeing straightforward. The building houses a minimarket, and a supermarket is directly below, with several restaurants and boulangeries in the immediate vicinity. Orly Airport is 19 km away; a paid shuttle service can be arranged.

Each apartment offers a separate living room, one or two bedrooms, a private bathroom with shower, and a kitchen equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and tea/coffee maker. Air conditioning and soundproofed walls are standard. Apartments 1 and 2 (35 m², sleeping 2-4) have elevator access; apartment 3 (45 m², no elevator) offers more space. A studio (suitable for 1-2 guests) is also available. All units feature parquet floors, a flat-screen TV, washing machine, and hairdryer. Despite the central location, the apartments are generally quiet, with city views in some units. The space is well-utilised for the size, making it practical for groups or families, and the layout creates a comfortable rest area after a day out.

There is no restaurant at the property. Each apartment has a kitchen with a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, and kitchenware for cooking. A minimarket in the same building and a supermarket directly below make it easy to buy groceries. The surrounding block is lined with a wide variety of restaurants, from brasseries and bistros to international cuisine (Asian, French, and more), all within a few minutes' walk. Breakfast is not offered by the property, so guests arrange their own morning meals using the kitchen or nearby cafés.

The 24-hour front desk staff can assist with inquiries and coordinate the paid airport shuttle service (pick-up and drop-off available). Express and private check-in/out options simplify arrival and departure. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures-useful for exploring the city hands-free. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. Other facilities include a minimarket on site, key access, smoke alarms, and soundproofed rooms. There is no lift for apartments 3-6; only stairs (about 20 steps). This setup suits independent travellers and groups looking for a no-frills base with responsive service.
