RESIDENCE JUDECCA, Venice

Positioned on Giudecca, this apartment is a short Vaporetto ride from St. Mark's Square and other main attractions, yet the area feels distinctly local and peaceful - far from the tourist crowds. The Redentore stop is right around the corner, making island-hopping to Murano, Burano, or Lido very straightforward. There are multiple restaurants, bars, a pizzeria, and a grocery store within a 5-minute walk, so daily errands and casual dining are very convenient. The apartment is on the third floor with elevator access, and the immediate neighborhood is secure and well-lit. Boating opportunities on the lagoon are also available nearby.

The apartment is larger than typical city-studio options, with a roomy living area that includes a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom is comfortable with a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space, plus a mezzanine level with an additional single bed - suitable for a small family or group of friends. There is a modern bathroom with a powerful shower, and the terrace offers nice city views. Additional features: air conditioning, parquet flooring, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and a washing machine. The apartment is bright and well-maintained, with good soundproofing from the quiet street. The roof terrace is shared with three other apartments but provides a stunning view across the canal toward St. Mark's - ideal for sunrise and sunset.

Guests preparing their own meals have a full kitchen with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and tea/coffee maker. A grocery store is a short walk away for fresh ingredients. The surrounding streets offer numerous dining options within 0.3-0.5 km: L'isola dei gelati, Altanella, Al Pontil Dea Giudecca, and al storico da Crea for traditional Italian meals, plus Soho Bar and La Palanca for lighter bites. For quick takeaway, Pizzeria La Foca is also nearby. Many of these are moderately priced and have a local atmosphere, providing a peaceful alternative to the tourist-heavy restaurants across the canal.

Wi-Fi is free and included for the whole stay. The host Serena provides clear communication before and during the stay, including smooth check-in. Ironing facilities, a hairdryer, and free toiletries are provided. There is no front desk or luggage storage facility on site, but the elevator and secure access make moving in and out easy. Smoking and pets are not allowed. Parking is unavailable; guests rely entirely on the Vaporetto water bus for transport, which stops right near the apartment. The apartment has good security and a safe, quiet building.
