ROME SWEET HOME VATICAN, Rome

The guest house sits on a quiet residential street in the Prati area, a 3-minute walk from Cipro Metro station (Line A) which connects directly to termini station and the historic centre. The Vatican Museums are within a 10-minute walk, and St. Peter's Square is about 2 km away. Fiumicino Airport is 27 km from the property; the easiest access is by train to Roma Termini then Metro Line A to Cipro, or by a direct bus to Termini station. A bus stop is right outside the building. The neighbourhood is safe and well-served by supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes, making it practical for self-catering and dining out. An ice-skating rink is nearby for leisure.

All rooms feature a private bathroom with shower, bidet, and hairdryer; free toiletries are provided. Rooms include a work desk, wardrobe, flat-screen TV, and a refrigerator. The atmosphere is functional and practical rather than luxurious. Rooms with balconies offering outdoor space are available and can be requested. The single and double rooms are compact but well-suited for city trips. Daily housekeeping service is included. Some interior rooms face an inner courtyard and may have limited natural light and no view, so a room with a balcony is a better choice if daylight matters. The lift provides easy access to upper floors.

Breakfast includes a continental tray delivered to the room at a pre-arranged time, typically featuring coffee or tea, a pastry, bread, biscuits, cereal, and fruit. The selection is basic and portion-controlled. For a more substantial or varied meal, the surrounding Prati area offers numerous restaurants, pizzerias, and cafes within a short walk. A minimarket on site allows purchase of snacks and drinks. The property does not have a restaurant or bar.

No wellness or leisure facilities are available on site. An ice-skating rink is located nearby for outdoor recreation. The surrounding Prati district offers walking routes to Vatican City and a variety of shops and cafes for leisure time.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. The guest house operates a self-check-in system; key box access details are sent the day before arrival. The lift provides floor access. Daily housekeeping is provided. A minimarket on site sells basic groceries. There is no laundry service; a self-service laundromat is located 100 metres from the property. A hairdresser/beautician is available on site by appointment. No luggage storage is offered, though the manager may accommodate a late check-out on request. Pets are allowed on request with a possible surcharge.
