SILVERBELL INN, Tucson

Situated right off the highway, the location is convenient for those with a car - free parking is directly outside each room. Downtown Tucson and its restaurants are a 10-minute drive away, while both the east and west sections of Saguaro National Park are within 30 minutes. The immediate area is industrial, so walking to shops or restaurants is not practical; a vehicle or ride-share is essential. The interstate proximity makes the motel a practical base for exploring the wider Tucson region and nearby hiking destinations.

Breakfast is included and centers on a self-serve oatmeal bar with a wide choice of toppings (nuts, raisins, etc.), along with toast, Pop-Tarts, juice, and coffee. It's a simple, carb-focused meal - fine for those who like oatmeal but not a full hot breakfast. The on-site bar is open most evenings offering beer and wine (free welcome drink token per person on check-in) and a limited food menu including grilled cheese and quesadillas. Note: the evening food is not available on Sundays. The surrounding area requires a short drive for more varied dining options.

The outdoor swimming pool is heated and open all year, providing a welcome amenity especially during Tucson's hot months. For recreation, there is a small gym, a game room with vintage pinball machines, foosball, and board games. The central courtyard features a fire pit and seating area, often hosting live music on weekends. A 'Zen zone' offers a quiet spot to relax. Towels are provided at the pool, but note that pool and fitness area hours are subject to staffing.

The 24-hour front desk provides friendly service and can assist with luggage storage. Wi-Fi is free but only available in some rooms and can be unreliable; the lobby and common areas tend to have better connectivity - a potential issue for remote work. Self-service laundry costs $3 each for washer and dryer; bring quarters as change may not be available at the front desk. Pets are allowed on request with possible charges, and a dedicated pet relief area with waste bags is provided. A microwave is available in the lobby and can be requested for your room. The property is non-smoking and accepts major credit cards.
