SKY HOTEL CHOW KIT PWTC, Kuala Lumpur

The hotel sits in Chow Kit, a central area with direct access to the PWTC LRT station, making movement around Kuala Lumpur convenient without a car. The location also provides easy walking access to Sunway Putra Mall, numerous local restaurants, shops, and public transport links. Bank Negara Malaysia Museum and Art Gallery is 3 km away, Petronas Twin Towers 3 km, and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center 4 km. Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport is 23 km from the hotel. Paid public parking is available nearby for MYR 10 per day, but basement parking is not recommended. The area is practical for those attending events at PWTC or relying on the LRT.

The hotel offers single, double, twin, triple, family, and studio rooms, all with private bathrooms that include a shower, bidet, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Family rooms can accommodate 2 to 4 or more guests. The property shows signs of age; some rooms feel dated, stuffy, or have a corridor smell. If possible, request a room away from the street to reduce noise from nearby traffic and hallways. The air conditioning system can be inconsistent - some units cool well, while others take hours to reach a comfortable temperature. Wi-Fi signal is reliable only in rooms closer to the reception area.

The breakfast is a buffet-style affair featuring halal Asian options. It is a good value for the price. Many dining alternatives are also within easy walking distance, including Marugame Udon, Kedai Kopi & Makanan Man Lien, Rice Garden, Al-Amar Sunway Putra, and Dolly Dim Sum - all within a few hundred meters. Room service is also available at the property.
