SLEEP 2 IN PICCADILLY SOHO CENTRAL LONDON VRF, London

This apartment sits in the very centre of London, a few steps from Sondheim Theatre and a one-minute walk from Prince of Wales Theatre. Piccadilly Circus is 200 metres away, Oxford Street a seven-minute walk, and Leicester Square Underground Station a five-minute walk. The National Gallery is 600 metres from the property, and London City Airport is 14 km away. The surrounding area is packed with dining options, including Bella Italia, Caffe Concerto, and several other restaurants all within 0.5 km. The location is rated highly for its convenience, though the immediate area is very busy, particularly at night, with significant street noise from traffic, sirens, and people.

The apartment includes one bedroom with one bed, a fully equipped kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, and microwave, a private bathroom with a shower, and a seating area with a flat-screen TV and electric kettle. The unit has a private entrance, air conditioning (a portable unit), and heating (a small electric heater). However, multiple verified reports indicate significant problems: the TV often does not work, the portable air conditioning unit is ineffective, there is no openable window, and single-glazed windows let in street noise. The shower floods the bathroom as it lacks a door, the sink is loose, drains are slow or clogged, the toilet flush is weak, and the electrical panel is exposed behind an unlocked cupboard. The room is described as very basic, with no wardrobe, hooks, or storage for clothes. A persistent smell of sewage from drains has been reported, and the room can be cold in winter despite the heater. The property also has a lift.

The apartment does not offer a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. The fully equipped kitchen with a stovetop, oven, microwave, and refrigerator allows guests to prepare their own meals. Alternatively, the central location places over eight different restaurants (including Italian, steakhouse, and Chinese options) within a 0.5 km walk, providing ample and varied dining choices.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. A VIP check-in/out service is provided, though access instructions may not be clear. The property has a lift, smoke alarms, and offers an invoice. Luggage storage is not available after check-out due to security reasons. No deposit is required. The apartment is a non-smoking unit, and the entire building is non-smoking. Pets are not allowed. No parking is available.
