STYLISH & COZY RETREAT NEAR USC & DOWNTOWN LA, Los Angeles

This guest house is located 2 km from the California Science Center and a 17-minute walk from the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. The LA Memorial Coliseum is 2 km away, and Crypto.com Arena is 5 km away. Los Angeles International Airport is 16 km from the property. A metro line that goes to Santa Monica is a 10-minute walk away, and the neighborhood is generally quiet and relatively safe. Most tourist attractions are around 30 minutes away by car. Street parking is available but can be difficult to find at times, so a car is recommended for exploring the wider city.

Each room is a private double room with a private bathroom and a hairdryer. The rooms are generally spacious and clean, with a modern bed and renovated bathrooms in some units. However, mattress quality can vary and some units have sagging or uncomfortable beds. The central air conditioning and heating may not allow room-level temperature control, making some rooms feel stuffy. Noise between rooms and from the street can be significant due to thin walls and floors, and quiet hours are not reliably enforced. Rooms lack TVs, but a shared lounge with a TV is available.

The property does not have a restaurant or serve breakfast. A shared kitchen is well-equipped with a stove, fridge, and essential cookware. Several fast-food and casual dining options are within 0.5-1 km, including Togo's, Panda Express, and La Salsa. The kitchen can be busy with up to 12 people sharing space, and communal cleanliness may vary. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves.

The wellness and leisure options are limited to what the shared lounge/TV area provides. There is no gym, spa, pool, or sauna. The surrounding university area offers access to parks and sports facilities but the property itself focuses on a functional, no-frills stay.

Wi-Fi is free of charge in public areas. The property has a shared kitchen and a shared lounge with a TV. Laundry is free, with a washer and dryer available on each floor. No airport shuttle is available, and management can be contacted by message. There is no daily housekeeping for common areas; guests are responsible for cleaning the kitchen and shared spaces, and trash can accumulate without regular servicing. The building uses keyless entry (door codes) for security.
