Milano Centrale station is within a comfortable walk, and Porta Garibaldi is even closer - both give direct metro links across the city plus a direct train to Malpensa Airport, making this a practical base for arrival and departure. The area has a lively evening scene with numerous restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and a nightlife strip nearby. For drivers, no parking is available; paid parking can be found at Restelli car park a short walk away. The metro stop is literally a few minutes on foot.

The apartment is a self-contained unit with one bedroom, a shower and bidet in the private bathroom, and a living area equipped with a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee maker, and an electric kettle. The bed is consistently noted as very comfortable, and the room overall is considered spacious enough for short city stays (1-2 nights) as a base. The bathroom is a highlight - recently renovated, very large, with a spacious shower, excellent water pressure, heated towel rack, and built-in dispensers for soap and shampoo, avoiding single-use plastic. Outlets are available on both sides of the bed. The apartment has heating and air conditioning that work well. A minor point: ceiling lighting is not present; ambient light comes from lamps.

A coffee machine and capsules are provided by the owner for morning use. No additional food or meal service is included or available on-site. However, the Isola district is dense with dining options: within a 3-minute walk there are at least eight restaurants, gelaterias, and bars including Grezzo Raw Chocolate, Anche Bar, Osteria dei Vecchi Sapori, and Little Italy. Many more cafés and restaurants line the streets toward Piazza Gae Aulenti. Self-caterers note the apartment is more suitable for eating out rather than cooking in.

The apartment does not feature a pool, spa, gym, or on-site entertainment. For leisure, the neighbourhood itself provides the main activity options: a short walk brings you to Bosco Verticale (vertical forest towers and public garden), Piazza Gae Aulenti with its shops and fountains, and the historic Blue Note jazz club. The location is well connected by metro to other city attractions such as Sforzesco Castle and Arena Civica.
