Each double room features a well-fitted kitchenette with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and tea/coffee maker, plus a washing machine and dryer for longer stays. Free toiletries and bathrobes are provided. Some rooms have a private en-suite bathroom; others share a well-maintained bathroom. The historic house has tall ceilings and large windows, creating a bright, spacious feel. On-site pets (a cat, a dog, and backyard chickens) add to the homely atmosphere but may affect those with allergies.

Breakfast is available Monday to Friday, prepared by the host using fresh ingredients, including eggs from the on-site chickens. The homemade breakfast is typically light and continental-style. On weekends, guests will need to arrange their own morning meal. The kitchenette in each room includes a tea and coffee maker, and some rooms are stocked with water, granola bars, and tea bags. The surrounding neighborhood has convenience stores and cafés accessible by a short bus ride or drive.

The property features a well-maintained garden with outdoor furniture where chickens roam freely, offering a rustic, relaxing atmosphere. The shared lounge includes a TV for indoor downtime. The neighborhood itself is calm and quiet, and the house's large windows and ceiling fans promote a naturally cool environment. For more active leisure, downtown Tampa, Ybor City, and area parks are a short drive or bus ride away.

Free private parking is available on site with no reservation needed. Wi-Fi is free and fast (174 Mbps), suitable for 4K streaming and video calls.
