THE INN AT UCLA, Los Angeles

The hotel's position on the UCLA campus offers direct access to Royce Hall, Powell Library, the Luskin Conference Centre, and UCLA Medical Centre. Public transportation, including bus stops and pay-per-ride scooters, is within walking distance, and Westwood Village is a short walk away. The surrounding neighbourhood is quiet and safe, with Beverly Hills reachable by car in about 15-20 minutes. For exploring further, the Getty Center (8 km), Universal Studios Hollywood (17 km), and the Petersen Automotive Museum and Dolby Theater (13 km each) are all within a reasonable drive. The hotel's on-campus location is particularly convenient for university-related events, athletic games, and medical appointments, though the large campus may require internal transportation depending on your exact destination.

The hotel offers twin/double rooms with two beds and double rooms with one bed. Standard amenities include air conditioning, heating, a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, free toiletries, and an alarm clock. Some rooms are described as tiny but well-maintained; others are spacious and quiet. Mattress firmness varies, with some being on the softer side. The bathrooms provide excellent water pressure and instant hot water. Room decor leans toward a classic style, occasionally noted as a bit dark but clean and comfortable. The overall atmosphere is very quiet due to the campus location, and the property is well-suited for light sleepers. Non-smoking and throughout.

The breakfast is served in an elegant dining room with courtyard views and is consistently praised for its quality and variety. It includes continental and hot items, making it suitable for different tastes and dietary preferences. For other meals, the hotel does not have a restaurant or bar on site. However, the location on campus provides access to university dining options, and Westwood Village (within a short walk) offers numerous cafés and restaurants. A Panda Express is 0.5 km away. The 24-hour coffee and tea station in the lobby is a convenient perk throughout the day.
